Board of Directors Meeting
January 12, 2018
Time: 10:00am to 11:00am 12:10p, to 2:00pm
I. Call to order by Mark Williams
II. Roll Call, Mark Williams, Karen Bergman, Roger Combs, Steve Bell, John Bergman, Tiger Volz. Steve Long, Doug Sims, Marty Benko and Bruce Archibald. Marty out with back surgery.
Approval of minutes from last meeting (Motion by Long, 2nd by Bruce approved by all)
Treasure’s Report (Accepted) (note still need State Report) At this time Roger stated he wanted to use checks instead of cash for trophies. Motion passed to do checks. At the same time Roger reported that the taxes were done and the CPA said we should use Quick Books.
III. Unfinished Business:
a) Axline Award, went to Mikeworth, Paul Wolf Award went to Boice Privetts. Rookie Buckle went to Steven Hayes. 200 Targets shooting on same bank was address.
b) Daily Fees of $2 will take place next season with a review after one year.
c) Web Site looking for a new manger.
d) Programs out early (Proof and be ready by eight weeks before the shoot)
IV. New Business: Western Zone Shoot (Doug is looking at it with Tiger) Letter from Richard Luckett.( Richard address the board and Mark said we will be looking into the concerns. Steve Bell stated he contacted Ashley Johnson with ATA and she sent a current active membership list. Steve Bell will section out the members by zones so at a election there will be a current member list for voting.) (Karen would like to see voting by paper ballots)
