The Arizona State Shoot (October 28, 2020 through November 1, 2020) at Ben Avery Clay Target Center in Phoenix, Arizona is rapidly approaching. After many conversations with Cherel McCracken at 2lazy2 final arrangements have been made for the event to be held. 2lazy2 is the company contracted by the State of Arizona Game and Fish department to conduct registered ATA events at the Ben Avery Clay Target Center. Cherel has worked very hard to ensure that ASTA requirements are met and that Ben Avery Clay Target Center requirements are met in order to hold our event.
There will be some things that we need to do in order to keep Shooters and Shoot personnel safe, most of the changes are normal Covid related safety measures which the majority of us are already practicing. Information sheets will be available at the shoot to help everyone understand our responsibilities as shooters and the responsibilities of the club and Shoot staff. I would like to ask everyone to please be patient and understanding of the requirements set, as I stated earlier there shouldn’t be any unnecessary requirements other than normal Covid related safety measures. If you have issues or feel anyone is being unreasonable please seek out a Board member and we will work out any problems. If you are vulnerable to health-related issues and feel it is not safe for you to attend PLEASE stay home, if you are sick PLEASE stay home. We will have more shoots in the future, your well-being and the well-being of others is our first priority.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the shoot please contact any board member, Cherel McCracken at 2lazy2, or the Ben Avery Clay Target Center.
Thank You All for your patience and understanding during these trying times. Stay safe, travel safe, be safe. See you at the Arizona State Shoot.
