Membership

Join the ASTA

The ATA target year runs September 1 through August 31. ASTA annual memberships must be renewed at the start of each new target year, or prior to shooting at registered tournaments in the state. Memberships can be renewed at any club hosting a registered shoot, or through the ASTA Secretary.

All Arizona residents must be ASTA members before participating in any ATA registered shoots within the state.

Active resident members in good standing are entitled to one vote at association meetings and must be present in person to vote. An active member is a person who has registered a minimum of 500 targets in the current target year.

Arizona Residency Requirements

No person can compete for ASTA trophies or ATA titles in State, State Zone, or Western Zone tournaments unless he or she has been a bona fide resident of Arizona and a member in good standing of the ASTA and the ATA for the immediately preceding six months. If you have moved into the state or maintain a residence in Arizona plus another state, provide the ATA Delegate and State Secretary with proof that Arizona is your primary residence.
